WHEN YOU HAVE SELECTED HOMES THAT ARE OF INTEREST:

Drive-by: How often have you arrived at a home with an Agent and not even wanted to get out of the car? It does happen more often than you think. If you think a home looks good on paper, take the time to do a little research. Use Google maps (imbedded in the listings) to see exactly where the property is located. Is it near a thruway or train track? Commercial use property? Does this matter to you? After you determine this, if it still looks good to you, drive by the property. This gives you the opportunity to assess the neighborhood, the street, and see if the house is the type of home you envision for yourself and your family. This way you won't waste your time looking at houses that simply wouldn't work for you. If you love the neighborhood, and there are other homes for sale nearby, be sure to take note of the addresses, so you can get more information about them.


Open Houses: When you see a home you want to get in to look at, check our site to see if there is an open house scheduled in the next week or two. If you save the property to your personal dashboard, you will be alerted when an Open House is scheduled. You can see the home at your leisure during the open house, and don't have to coordinate schedules with anyone. Preoh encourages buyers to go to open houses.


Contact the listing agent to request a private showing: When that agent got the listing, they agreed to do everything reasonable to sell the home. That is called their “fiduciary responsibility”. This should include showing to all potential buyers. Often, the agent won’t even ask about a buyer broker agreement. They may ask if you are working with a Realtor, and the answer is: “yes, and they encourage me to see as many homes as possible. I prefer to see them with the listing agent”.

Arrange for a direct showing: When Preoh is needed our agent is there. You simply request a Preoh agent showing, and we will have an agent available to make the appointment, and meet you at the home to open it for you.
